Mouth Guards

A mouthguard is a specially made cover for your teeth and gums that protects them from damage. If you play a lot of physical sports then wearing a properly-made mouthguard when taking part can protect against losing teeth, dislocating or breaking your jaw, and even concussion.

First, your dentist will need to take an ‘impression’ of your mouth to see how your jaws fit together. With that, they will construct a custom mouthguard that fits you perfectly. Mouthguards made in this way are the safest, most comfortable and durable option: ‘at home’ kits do not offer the same comfort or protection.

Mouthguards come in a wide range of colours and designs so speak to us about what your options are! Mouthguards are not available on the NHS.
